KI is a 501(c)3 non-profit community center in downtown Indianapolis at the corner of 28th and Capitol. Our work is grounded in three areas of focus: youth empowerment, environment, and social entrepreneurship.

KI works to develop, implement, provide and support passionate agency rooted in community engagement and empowerment We seek to equip people with information, skills, knowledge, experiences and a positive sense of self that enables them to succeed in their lives and make a positive contribution to their families, communities and the world.
Community Empowerment Through Self-Mastery
The mantra of our organization, it highlights our focus on developing people’s capacity to think and act critically to improve themselves, their community, and speak from their experiences. Through improving ourselves and building supportive relationships with those around us we are better able to appreciate the incredible capacity we have to make positive change in the world.
